ArcWeb Explorer Flex samples
A variety of live samples including code using Flex are available and are grouped according to functionality.
- Quick-Start samples—Basic samples demonstrate map, map image, and raster tile functionality. Additional samples illustrate how to add markers, change map type, control the map scale, and add a map using ActionScript.
- Quick-Start Plus samples—Advanced samples show basic markers with styles and bubble markers with styles, Query Layers, how to add an ArcIMS service and blend two ArcIMS services together, add a GeoRSS feed as an overlay, use polygon and polyline mouse handlers, create map types, set layer visibility, show two connected maps, print a map, add markers on the fly, implement custom keyboard and mouse handlers, add markers using the MarkerMouseHandler, add an event listener to a polygon layer, and use widgets.
- Advanced functionality samples—These samples depict how to create a custom MarkerStyle and apply it to a GeoRSS feed, create widgets, request a demographic report, use the Find service, create a right-click control, and use TraceTarget to debug when developing Flex applications.
- Explorer samples—These samples allow you to investigate bubble markers, data sources, and projections available for group layers.
