Miller projection -- Used for general-purpose world maps. Used to represent the entire Earth in a rectangular frame. Popular for world maps. Looks like Mercator but is not useful for navigation. Shows poles as straight lines. Compromise between Mercator and other cylindricals. Poles are lines. Not equal area. Not conformal (scale different in different directions at a given point).
